The National FFA organization is the world’s largest agricultural youth organization that trains young adults for careers in the vast industry of agriculture. FFA activities and award programs complement instruction in agriculture and agribusiness by giving students practical experience in the application of agricultural skills and knowledge gained in classes.
Even though production agriculture represents less than 2 percent of the entire population, in total, agriculture, agribusiness and agri-science careers encompass about 25 percent of the workforce in Minnesota (50 percent in non-metro areas).
The FFA organization prides itself on preparing young adults through premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
