Welcome to Alexandria Area High School

- Home of the Cardinals!

We are excited for our school year at Alexandria Area High School. The staff is excited for the teaching and learning opportunities that our new school offers. We continue to score above state averages on state and national assessment tests. For the 2023-24 school year, we have set our goals to achieve higher results to meet the needs of all of our students.

At AAHS, the dedicated staff works closely with students to maintain a high standard of educational excellence. We encourage students to reach their full potential by taking advantage of the many course offerings at Alexandria Area High School. AAHS offers courses to meet the needs and interests of all our students. Our fall registration numbers show that we have a high average of students enrolling in college courses offered at AAHS. Students are meeting the rigor of our classes with hard work and great parent support.

We are very proud of our students. We have several leadership teams that provide a voice and an ability to create a culture and climate where all students feel comfortable and connected. Our students have taken ownership of AAHS and strive to create an environment that is welcoming to anyone who enters our building.
