All Minnesota students may participate in a number of enrollment options adopted by the state legislature. Alexandria Public Schools participates in all these options, including Open Enrollment.
Open Enrollment allows students in grades K-12 the opportunity to apply to attend school outside of the school district where they live. Families generally provide their own school transportation. No tuition is charged. Alexandria Public Schools welcomes students from many other districts in west central Minnesota through open enrollment.
